Description
English: The heat pump water heater can save up to two thirds of the energy used by a conventional resistance type electric water heater. It was developed by energy utilization systems, in under contract with Doe's Oak Ridge National Lab (ORNL). Here, technician, Phil Childs, uses a multimeter to check connections in one of the heaters as it is being in- stalled in ORNL's energy conservation lab.
