Title
English: Newly-filled land on West Duwamish Waterway, looking west, Seattle.
Description
English: Beginning of Harbor Island.
  • Subjects (LCTGM): Rivers--Washington (State)
  • Subjects (LCSH): Duwamish River (Wash.); Fills (Earthwork)--Washington (State)--Seattle; Harbor Island (Wash.)

"West Duwamish Waterway" in the title here is a bit confusing. At the time, this would have simply been considered part of Elliott Bay. Once Harbor Island was constructed, the remaining water this side of Harbor Island was the East Duwamish Waterway, and on the far side the West Duwamish Waterway.
