| Description | Detail view of the easternmost of the two main piers of the Ross Island Bridge (in Portland, Oregon) from the southeast, from the Springwater Corridor Trail, in May 2019. This was shortly after the completion of a full repainting of the 1926-built bridge, the first since 1965, when it first received this blue color (replacing green, which had replaced black a decade earlier). The blue had faded considerably by the time of the repainting project, which ran from 2014 to early 2019, including preparation work. |
