Description
English: Parish church of SS Philip and Etheldreda, Exning Road, Newmarket, Suffolk, seen from the northwest. Behind it on the left is part of the former Newmarket Union Workhouse, built in 1837. The church post-dates the workhouse by some decades. It is not shown on an Ordnance Survey map of 1891 but is shown on a 1903 edition. The tree in front with the very light green foliage is a Robinia pseudoacacia (false acacia).
