Description
English: A small protest outside Newport library, Orchard Street, Newport, Isle of Wight. The library was closed at the time due to a strike by workers, protesting about planned cuts to the service by Isle of Wight Council. See: http://www.iwcp.co.uk/news/news/islands-libraries-shut-as-staff-walk-out-37368.aspx The protesters soon went and joined in with the demonstration march through Newport town centre, protesting about the cuts.
