Summary

Description
English: Newton Linford: Bradgate House ruined Great Hall, near to Newton Linford, Leicestershire, Great Britain.

This is the surviving north wall of the Great Hall. The floor would have been where the joist holes are in the brickwork while the large windows would have been designed to be very impressive to all and sundry when the mansion was built around 1500.

The bushes with their attractive black berries at the bottom right are Deadly Nightshade (atropa belladonna).
