Summary edit

Description
English: Neyland railway station (site), Pembrokeshire
Opened in 1856 as 'Milford Haven', as the terminus of the South Wales Railway's line from Carmarthen, this station was renamed 'New Milford' in 1859 and became 'Neyland' in 1906. It closed in 1964 and was demolished. View north towards Johnston and Carmarthen from approximately where the buffer stops were. It's hard to believe today that this was an important jumping-off point for Ireland in the days before the ferries switched to Fishguard, and there was a floating pontoon for boarding just out of view to the right. The area has since been completely redeveloped.
