Description
Deutsch: Für das Bissendorfer Moor ist die zentrale offene Moorheidefläche besonders charakteristisch. Der Torfkörper ist hier noch großflächig unzerstochen und uhrglasförmig aufgewölbt. Teilflächen sind auch als naturnahes Hochmoor mit typischen Bulten-Schlenkenstrukturen ausgebildet.
English: The central open moor heather area is particularly characteristic of the Bissendorfer Moor. The peat body is still largely undestroyed and arched in the shape of a watch glass. Partial areas are also designed as near-natural raised bogs with typical Bulten-Schlenken structures.
