Polski: Niedziela palmowa otwiera cykl obrzędów wielkanocnych. W tym dniu święci się palmy, które tradycyjnie na Górnym Śląsku mają postać niedużej wiązanki wykonanej z kilku gatunków roślin (obecnie wypierane przez kolorowe i wysokie palmy). Na zdjęciu – Niedziela Palmowa w Bytomiu.
English: The Easter cycle of rites is opened with Palm Sunday, when the tradicional Easter palms are blessed. In Upper Silesia eastern palms have the shape of modest bouquet made of several plant species. Currently the traditional palms are pushed out by colourful and high palms coming from other parts of Poland.
