Summary

English: The turbines were installed over a 2 week period in August 2016. Building the turbine structure begins with the installation of the tower pieces. Then the nacelle is placed on top of the tower. The blades are then attached. The installation requires the use of a specialized vessel called a lift boat that is about as big as a football field. Feeder vessels, also lift boats, carry the blades to the construction vessel. Assembly takes about one day assuming good weather. Look for the people on the nacelle to get an idea of the size!
