Description
Deutsch: Die ehemalige Hauptkirche St. Nikolai ("Nikolaikirche") in Hamburg ist eine Kirchenruine und steht heute als Mahnmal für die Opfer der 2. Weltkrieges. Die Nikolaikirche in Hamburg, mit dem vierthöchsten Kirchturm der Welt, war Zielpunkt der Luftangriffe im Hamburger Feuersturm (Operation Gomorrha) und brannte im Juli 1943 aus.
English: St. Nikolai Church in Hamburg, Germany. The current condition of the Nikolaikirche is the result of air raids at Hamburg during World War 2 in the year 1943.
