Summary
editDescriptionNimby unfinished tower (cropped).jpg |
English: Not In My Back Yard (NIMBY)
The pictures was taken in Washington, DC, the US Capitol. There is a neighborhood known as Tenleytown, which is near American University. This tower was not finished as it was considered to be too ugly for such an upscale neighborhood in N.W. They waited until it was half built, and then got some sort of injunction. Now the company that built is is supposed to tear it down. |
