Description
Black-brown cotton scoreboard banner painted in white letters. Each end of the banner is folded over to form slim pockets to hold poles. When Australian cricketer Nance Clements made her batting debut for Victoria against England at the MCG in 1934, she discovered the name of English pace bowler Harold Larwood painted on the reverse of her scoreboard banner. In the National Historical Collection of the National Museum of Australia.
