The empty beach of Boucan Canot

Summary

edit
Description
English: Boucan Canot Beach was one of the most crowded beach of La Réunion Island until beginning 2010’s. Unfortunately swimming is now forbidden due to too many deadly shark attacks. The bulldog shark is the main spiece recognized as responsible for these attacks. Most scientists and islanders agree that intense fishing in their hunting territory as well as organic pollution being thrown to the sea is the reason why the bulldog sharks are now so close to the coast.
