Summary edit

Description
English: c/n 108-33698. US military serial 44-30423. Part of the collection since 1965, ‘Photo Fanny’ is another film star, appearing in ‘Forever Young’ and later in ‘Pearl Harbor’, for which she was painted as ‘02261’ and flew off the USS Constellation in a representation of the Doolittle raid. This B-25 is better known as “Photo Fanny” and is used for both display and film work, from both sides of the camera. She has recently been involved in filming a ‘Catch 22’ TV series and is wearing a temporary colour scheme representing a B-25 based in Italy during 1944/1945. Filming took place in Sardinia and she is seen during a 48 hour stopover as part of her journey home to the States, in company with a second B-25 in similar markings (N898BW, usually flown as “Axis Nightmare”). It is now on display at Planes of Fame Air Museum, Chino, California, USA. 20th September 2019 R-2600-29 14 cylinder radial engine
