| Description | The north portal of the MAX Green Line's tunnel under I-205, with a southbound train (going away from the camera, with car 312 closest) entering the tunnel. The tunnel takes the MAX tracks between the freeway's east side (seen here) and its west side. It was built in the early 1980s for future use as part of a transitway (predicted at the time to be a busway) but stood unused for more than 25 years until outfitted in 2007–08 for use by the MAX light rail system's Green Line. |
