DescriptionNorthwest corner of Buzzart Dikes - geograph.org.uk - 1474885.jpg |
English: Northwest corner of Buzzart Dikes. The line of ferns in the centre of the image marks the line of the ditch, with the heather-clad ridge on the left being the associated bank of this ancient earthwork, supposedly dating from the late medieval period. The earthwork enclosed a roughly rectangular area of about 86ha and was most likely a deer park.
