This almost thousand-year-old building has gone through many phases of construction, destruction and reconstruction. She has survived many wars and is now still subject to the test of time and the unforeseen. In this photo, part of one of the cranes is parallel to the walls of the cathedral, as if to symbolize its wound, or its bandage. The end of the monumental crane swings with the rest of the enormous building of Notre Dame.
