Description

At the University of California at Berkeley, EPA announced 18 universities that have joined the Food Recovery Challenge in celebration of America Recycles Day. Jared Blumenfeld, U.S. EPA Pacific Southwest Regional Administrator, holds up the new reusable to-go containers available in U.C. Berkeley dining halls.

Like many of us, busy students often take their meals to go. Students can now bring in a reusable box to help prevent 'to-go waste'.
