This shop sign on Moore Street in Dublin, Ireland caught my attention yesterday. O'Bama Power (Paddy Power is the actual name of the business)

I live in the city centre and have found the security for Queen Elizabeth II to be a bit tedious but I do accept that they were necessary. Today the bus routes through the city centre were changed because work was being carried outside the Bank Of Ireland on Dame Street. Sign posts, street lamps and bicycle racks were being removed from College Green ahead of President Obama's visit. It is claimed that all items will be returned on Tuesday when the visit is over.

President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama and Taoiseach Enda Kenny will take part in a public celebration of his visit at College Green in Dublin on Monday. Mr Obama will address the audience at the end of the entertainment which will involve many well-known Irish artists.

The College Green event will be open to members of the public and is free of charge, with no tickets being required. To facilitate the large number of people expected to attend, security gates will open at 2pm on Monday. The public have been advised to allow plenty of time to get to the event as many streets will be closed to traffic and parking in the city will be greatly limited and it has been suggested that they should use public transport.

Signs and banners along with food and beverages will not be allowed inside the event site but cameras and mobile phones will be permitted.
