Description ST. MARY'S, Alaska -- Alaska Governor Bill Walker jokes with students at the Elicarvicuar Elementary School here Dec. 5, 2015. Walker and U.S. Senator Dan Sullivan joined about 50 volunteers who traveled here as part of Operation Santa Claus, an Alaska National Guard program to collect toys, school supplies and food staples and deliver them to school children in Alaska's remote villages. This mission was the second and final Op Santa mission of 2015. St. Mary's was the site of the original Operation Santa Claus in 1957. National Guard photo by Capt. John Callahan.
