Português: O charmoso conjunto arquitetônico da cidade de Tiradentes foi tombado pelo Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional (Iphan), em um período cujo nacionalismo estava em alta através da figura do então presidente Getúlio Vargas. Verifica-se ainda a predominância de coberturas em duas águas e de beirais com beira-seveira, com alguns pouco exemplares de beirais em cachorros. Os sobrados, em menor número, caracterizam-se tanto pelo tratamento requintado da cantaria nos vãos, incluindo em alguns casos pinturas policromadas, quanto pelos acabamentos internos de extrema riqueza, particularmente no que diz respeito aos forros pintados e apainelados marcados por composições policromadas com figuras e elementos decorativos do barroco.
