Português: O Brasil é o terceiro maior produtor de resíduos sólidos do planeta. Cada brasileiro gera um pouco mais de um quilo de lixo por dia, em média. Cerca de 40% desse lixo ainda vão para lixões a céu aberto. Para tratar do problema, foi sancionada em 2010 a Política Nacional de Resíduos Sólidos, que estabeleceu prazo até este ano para os municípios acabarem com os lixões. A lei procura fazer com que todos os envolvidos — governos, empresas e cidadãos — assumam suas responsabilidades e deem destinação correta ao lixo. Veja como cada um pode fazer sua parte na solução do problema. |
