Hospodářské poměry jihovýchodních Čech, zvláště pak města Německého Brodu, které bylo střediskem obchodu, textilního a škrobárenského průmyslu, si vyžadovaly zřízení odborné školy. Potřeba existence takové školy byla pociťována již delší dobu. Již v roce 1907 se jednalo o zřízení obchodní školy. Havlíčkův Brod. Kraj Vysočina. Czech Republik.
