DescriptionOberes Ohrntal im Mainhardter Wald.jpg	Deutsch: Die Ohrn bildet liegt an der Grenze der Waldenburger Berge zum Mainhardter Wald und fließt nordwärts zum Kocher. Hier, nahe der Quelle, hat sie gerade die Bundesstraße 14 unterquert. Zum 1. Januar 2005 wurde der Ohrnverlauf auf seiner gesamten Länge nach der europäischen Fauna-Flora-Habitat-Richtlinie als Schutzgebiet gemeldet. Der Mainhardter Wald und die Waldenburger Berge gehören zu den Schwäbisch-Fränkischen Waldbergen (auch Schwäbisch-Fränkischer Wald) und damit zum 1979 gegründeten Naturpark Schwäbisch-Fränkischer Wald im Nordosten Baden-Württembergs. English: A typical landscape of the Swabian-Franconian Forest. In medieval times, the border between the duchies of Franconia and Swabia ran through this forested region. It still forms a transitional zone between the Swabian dialect in the south to the East Franconian dialect in the north.
