Italiano: Questo obiettivo di grosse dimensioni è montato su una base in legno di forma rettangolare che serviva per il posizionamento sul porta obiettivo di un apparecchio fotografico L'obiettivo è fissato alla tavoletta in legno grazie ad una flangia circolare in metallo È costituito da un cilindro in metallo alle cui estremità sono inseriti, da una parte, una lente a menisco e dall'altra un diaframma a iride La regolazione dell'apertura delle lamelle metalliche che lo costituiscono è ottenuta spostando una levetta posta sulla superficie laterale del cilindro, in corrispondenza del diaframma stesso In corrispondenza della lavetta sono indicate le posizioni 20, 40, 60, 80, 90.

Obiettivo per la correzione delle aberrazioni sferiche (lente a menisco) e di quelle cromatiche (lente acromatica).
