Description
Deutsch: Objektbild zeigt das Küperamt-Haus (seit 1756 im Eigentum der Gilde namens Amt der Böttger, Kiemer und Küper in Hamburg [Hamburgische Termini: Böttger = Böttcher, Küper = Küfer], vorher schon [ab 1622] mietweise im Besitz der Gilde) in der Niedernstraße 20, Blick aus der Depenau. Im Küperamt-Haus befand sich laut abgebildetem Nasenschild Der Böttger-, Kiemer- und Küper-Gesellen Herberge (mit nachgestelltem Genitiv, wie heute üblich: 'Herberge der Böttger-, Kiemer- und Küper-Gesellen'), eine Nachtkaschemme, die um 23 Uhr öffnete und jeden für 10 Pfennig auf dem Fußboden bis zum Morgen schlafen ließ. Laut Randbeschriftung bestand diese Herberge seit 1462 (Frage: aber auch vor 1622 schon in diesem Haus?), in der sich insbesondere wandernde Gesellen besagter Gewerke nach Betreten Hamburgs umgehend zu melden hatten, wie der Senat 1816 verordnete. Das 1864 vergoldete Amtsschild hing später, Ende des 19. Jh.s., in der Rosenstraße 37. Cf. u.a. 'https://historisches-hamburg.de/', Eintrag 'Niedern Strasse No. 20'
