Summary

Description

English: The name "ox-tongue iron" comes from the fact that an ox tongue-shaped iron wedge can be inserted into the inside of the iron from behind.

This is first heated on a cooker, then pushed in and the bottom of the iron is heated. The interior can be closed with a flap so that the iron wedge cannot fall out to the back. The wooden handle sits on its own stage above the actual iron. The stage is connected to the iron by 2 single-bar hangers.

Inside the iron there are 3 ribs at the bottom which prevent the iron wedge from resting directly on the floor. The iron wedge is marked 1 1/2. At the bottom of the interior there is a rib in the shape of a bishop's crook and in the bend of the crook as a cast mark the number 21.
