Deutsch: Die Statue des Roland am Rathaus von Oebisfelde. 1892 ließ der Rat einen Roland auf dem seit langen an dieser Stelle befindlichen Kragstein aufstellen. Die jetzige, hier abgebildete Figur, stammt aus dem Jahr 1989 und wurde zur 975-Jahrfeier der Stadt geschaffen. Der Roland hält in seiner Rechten das Schwert und in seiner Linken das Stadtwappen.
English: The Roland statue on the town hall of Oebisfelde, Germany. In 1892, the council had a Roland erected on the corbel that had long existed in this place. The present figure shown here dates from 1989 and was created on the occasion of the town's 975th anniversary. The Roland holds a sword in his right hand and the town's coat of arms in his left. |
