Ruine der Barbarakapelle an der Rabenauer Straße in der Dippoldiswalder Heide bei Oelsa Die Kapelle wurde um 1508 im Auftrag des Dippoldiswalder Schlossherrn Siegeismund von Maltitz erbaut und nach der Hl. Barbara – Schutzpatronin der Bergleute – benannt. Die Kapelle wurde von einem Kaplan betreut, der in einer Klause am Klausenweg wohnte. Die Kapelle wurde 1539 mit der Einführung der Reformation in Sachsen zerstört. Im Jahre 1882 wurde die Kapelle als Ruine wiederhergestellt. |
