Description

Tufted evening primrose (Oenothera cespitosa ssp. marginata), Evening Primrose family (Onagraceae). Golden Spike National Historic Site Park, Box Elder County, Utah; elevation 1460 m.

This is an interesting occurrence - E. caespitosa with a stem about 20 cm long, congested with fruits. Have to check with it later to see if there is anything else unusual with this plant.
