edit| Description |
English: The Block Island Wind Farm foundations were installed in 2015 in Rhode Island state waters. Jacket structures constructed in Louisiana were barged to the site an placed on the seafloor. Pin piles were driven into each corner of the jacket using a hammer. Once the pins were installed, a second piece or topside was attached to the foundation making it ready for the turbines to be installed.
