English: Ogúil (Uggool) An unsurfaced moorland road runs from An Dún (Doon) M1636 to and through the forestry at Leitir (Letter), ending at the crossing of Abhainn Bhoth Loiscthe (Owenboliskey River) M1034.
Here the road leaves the forest for a short while and there are good views north, up one of the tributary streams, towards the higher ground of Log an Chaorthainn (Luggakeeraun) (left) and Cnoc Ogúil (Knocknalee Hill) (right) the highest hill in the area between Lough Corrib and Galway Bay. |
