Summary
editExample of a cursive variant of w:Ogham script, developed for the purposes of calligraphy. Ogham originated in the context of inscriptions, with the earliest surviving examples being on stone, and so its morphology is dictated by the tools suitable for making these inscriptions. Cursive variants have been developed in response to the availability of writing implements suitable for calligraphy.
