English: Built in 1899, this Classical Revival-style building was constructed as a public school known as the Delaware School, or Buffalo Public School 18. The building features a red brick exterior with a low-slope roof enclosed by a parapet with multiple gables, a cornice with dentils, stone belt coursing, replacement windows, brick corbeling, pilasters at the corners and between bays, a front entrance with a fanlight transom, sidelights, and a decorative portico surround with pilasters and an architrave with the words “Delaware School No. 18” inscribed on it, and a tower over the front entrance with oxeye windows at the penthouse, a pyramidal hipped red terra cotta tile roof, cornice with modillions, and grouped ionic pilasters at the corners. The building has since ceased to function as a school and has been adaptively reused as an apartment building.
