Robin de Beaumont’s notes are written on the front endpaper verso. The lower cover has titles in the series: “Useful Books for country and Seaside.” The upper cover features flowers, printed in green, red, and pink; these surround a ‘vase’, which has the title printed within it. At the head of the upper cover: “Warne’s Useful Books.” The spine has the title printed in red and green letters along its length.
