Summary

edit
Description Now this is not a scene from Toronto, though it is displayed in the Toronto Railway Museum. This picture shows the Rideau Canal in Ottawa and the train track running next to it, which is now a walking track which we walked on. At middle right is the erstwhile Ottawa Union Station, now empty and which opens as a Govt. Conference Centre twice in a year. Ottawa's train station is now airport-like and located further upstream. Top right is the castle like Chateau Laurier hotel. Photos and detailed notes about all these appear in my Ottawa June 2015 album- I have covered these in some detail there.
