Description

Interior of Leeds School of Medicine, Thoresby Place, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It was designed by William Henry Thorp (born 1852), founded in 1890, and completed in 1894. All the original stone carving on the exterior, and the original wood and stone carving inside, was executed by John Wormald Appleyard (1831-1894).

Showing a photograph of the 1873 nursing and resident staff of the medical school when it was at 1 East Parade, Leeds. As of 2022 this photograph was kept in the library by the NHS microbiology dept.
