English: Old Sheep Fank at Balmavicar. Just a short way up the coast from the Mull of Kintyre lighthouse, along a rough and overgrown track, lie the ruins of an abandoned township (Balmavicar). Many structures (houses and outbuildings) still exist, although deserted by 1779. |
