Description
English: The original Smithtown Long Island Rail Road station house moved far south from the tracks in Smithtown, New York. The station was built by the former LIRR subsidiary known as the "Smithtown and Port Jefferson Railroad" in 1872, and was moved when the station was rebuilt in 1937. Today it is a private residence on Lawrence Avenue between Elm and Oak Avenues.
