English: Abandoned railroad spur in a a parking lot off of Woodville Highway (SR 363) in Tallahassee, Florida; believed to be the last remaining rails in place of the Tallahassee-St. Marks Railroad, the first railroad to operate in Florida, that was abandoned in 1980 and has otherwise been converted into a rail-trail - the "sidewalk" in the background is the rail-trail on the path of the old railroad main line. (Some small amount of artifacting from sun reflecting in middle of photo.) |
