  1. 屋主蕭雲章出身地方名門族˙日據時代昭和2年(1927年)擔任過保正.田中公學校教師.田中庄役場書記及助役.
  1. 老屋位於八堡二圳西側,大社路東側.西元1719年施世榜興建八堡圳,為清代台灣最大水利工程.
  1. 總面積1200坪,是為(和洋折衷),屋頂日式瓦作,風格上融合歐式,日式,閩式建築工法精良,用材多樣並和宜.
  1. 目前此屋已列為彰化縣歷史建築.
