Description
English: Old dam and leat, Thackthwaite Beck below Blue Scar The water emerges from Blue Scar having flowed through the 800m long Thackthwaite Beck Cave (entrance at the top of the scree slope). The leat (the dry, grassy channel in the foreground) probably took water to the mine workings further down the beck.
