Description
English: Old graveyard behind Garden Cottage The graveyard is an old burial ground that was in use when there were three farms at Spittal-on-Rule. Stones date back to 1610 and according to local folklore, the last witch of Denholm is buried here. The owner of the cottage is happy to let visitors explore the small graveyard.
