English: Old mine rail track Blackburn Fell Blackburn Fell Drift Mine was opened in July 1937 and closed finally in February 1979. It employed 237 miners producing 70,000 tons of coal every year. All that remains are the ramp, with narrow gauge rail track and large amounts of concrete. |
