| Description |
English: Old refreshment stop. Situated on the junction of Congleton Road and Fountain Court is this combination of drinking fountain (1715322) and horse trough (1715331). Dated 1861 they were for the benefit of thirsty travellers, I suppose it could be called a 19th century version of today's motorway service stations. |
