DescriptionOld school balers - geograph.org.uk - 1532139.jpg |
English: Old school balers Balers in a stubble field beneath Lanton Woods, near Bonjedward, Scottish Borders, Great Britain. These produce the small and portable bales which have almost been replaced by the machine handled large bales.
There is still a market for them, especially for stables. I have "fond" memories of walking with hay bales on my back, and a Hereford cow trying to knock it off with her horns. When I had a straw coloured Jaguar I rucksack, I seemed to attract close attention from cattle. |
