English: Oldington Bridge (No. 10) Plate, Staffs & Worcs Canal The extremely odd angle at which this has been photographed is because photographing it at all was difficult because right in front of it is a huge black pipe. But I suspect this could be an original plate so might be of some historic significance. It is metal, probably cast iron, and affixed to the Stourport (south) side of the bridge. There may have been one on the other side too, but there is no trace of that now. |
