Description
English: Oliver Møystad (1892 – 1956), a Norwegian engineer, farmer and forest owner. During the Norwegian Campaign in the Second World War in April 1940 he commanded Norwegian troops at the Battle of Midtskogen. During the German occupation of Norway, he served as leader of the collaborationist security police from 1941 to 1943, and Hirden from 1942 to 1944. Posing in the uniform of the Rikshirden.
Norsk bokmål: Oliver Cappelen Møystad (født 1892 i Elverum, død 1956 samme sted), norsk bonde, ingeniør, skogeier og politiker i Quislings fascistparti Nasjonal Samling (NS) før og under andre verdenskrig. Han ledet Statspolitiet 1941–1943 og Hirden 1942–1944 (etterfulgt av Karl A. Marthinsen) under den tyske okkupasjonen av Norge. Møystad ble dømt for landssvik etter krigen. På bildet er Møystad iført mørk blå hirduniform med skijegerlue, ridebukser, kryssbandolær og Rikshirdens solkors-emblem med sverd på armbindet. Antrekket har tydelige forbilder i de tyske nazistenes politiske uniformer.
