Description
English: Omar Mukhtar Street from Shuhada Square (Maydan al-Shuhada). The building to the left, painted in white and beige is the Jumhuriya bank, formerly the Banco di Roma (designed by colonial architect Alessandro Limongelli), while the government building on the right (with scaffolding from damage caused by protesters during the 2011 Libyan uprising) is the Ministry of Justice, formerly a colonial Italian government office building built by the famous Italian rationalist Florestano Di Fausto).
